  • The Bible teaching is solid and understandable. The people seem friendly. The free coffee helps to keep you awake and engaged.

However, for new people (and out-of-towners like me) who try to follow the directions given by Google (and other mapping services), you will NOT be able to locate the church.

The staff might want to try to follow the computer/phone directions (since the church website gives a link) and confirm the previous statement. The N35 ... in the address is what is hard for the computer-based tools to reconcile. Functionally, the church is NOT on Capitol Drive.

We only found the church (after 3 drives through the area) because we made a "wrong" turn onto a County Road.

  • ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

We had travelled up from Illinois to purchase a vehicle at the nearby dealership. We did not know the area at all and I had seen they had a very big parking lot. After I had driven the vehicle we stopped in the parking lot here so I could discuss the vehicle with my son. While I was talking to my son someone drove out to where we were sitting. In an angry tone he demanded to know "what are you doing out here?" I explained that we did not know the area and what we were doing. He got even angrier and told us we couldn't do that there and needed to leave immediately.

  • This is an awesome church! My family has been attending Spring Creek Church for 4+ years now and we've been involved in many of the items I'll mention below. It is built on God's word, which is very evident each Sunday listening to the sermon given. The focus is on Jesus and producing followers of Jesus Christ.

    The facilities include:
-Large foyer area with comfy couches and televisions for viewing the Sunday services (perfect if you have small kids and still want to enjoy the service without disrupting inside the sanctuary) They even have a coffee shop and table area with wifi!
-Classrooms where study groups are held on topics such as Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, Apologetics, Mens and Women's Ministry, etc.
-Kids Creek, a large children's wing including a gym where 252 kids bible teaching is held on Sunday mornings and Awana which is held during the week involving kids in studying scripture and learning all about Jesus. They also have great nursery care available for little ones.
-The Loft, a middle school and high school student worship area where students are involved in many opportunities such a retreats and events to build deeper friendships.

Throughout the year the church holds many events such as:
-Amerifest – A celebration to honor local armed forces and veterans
-Harvest Dinner – Church wide potluck where everyone brings a dish
-Awana Grand Prix – Where little ones can build their own race car and race against others
-Women's Retreat – Typically held in February off campus at a luxurious resort giving women a chance to relax, study and build friendships with other women
-HUGE Church-wide rummage sale fundraiser! Tons of selection!
-Father/Son Retreat – Off campus retreat where dads get to spend a weekend with their son
-Upward Soccer and Basketball for kids
-Helicopter candy drop and egg hunt

Attending on a Sunday morning, you'll get a feeling of a sense of “family” at this church. My wife and I typically grab a cup of coffee and attend a life group with other church attenders. Each life group has an age group focus to help you connect easily with others. Helpful staff at the information booths can point you in the right direction and get you where you need to go.
If you have kids and are worried about security, the church has a great kids check-in and check-out ID process so you know your child is safe while attending other activities at the church.
The Sunday morning services typically run about 1 hour and 15 minutes and combine media on video screens inside the sanctuary along with singing praise worship and typically have a bible-based content series that compliments the church bible reading plan.
